Cell Phone Law

In August 2025, a new state law on cell phones means that students in all schools can’t have their phone out during the day. It’s called “Bell to Bell.” People can use their phones till 7:50 am. Superintendent Fournier did talk about the new law on cell phones, including smartwatches, and smart glasses. “Recently, the New Hampshire State Legislature and Governor Ayotte signed a bill mandating a cell phone-free learning environment in all public and charter schools. This means that students will not be permitted to use personal electronic devices—including cell phones, smartwatches, and smart glasses—from the first bell of the school day until dismissal. This applies to all school spaces, including lunch, advisory periods, and other managed times.”
